     On 29th January, 2011.Dawn News came up with the new idea of making citizen a Journalist, this lecture held under the supervision of mass communication department at Anwar Sultana Auditorium of Jinnah University for Women.

     The guest speaker, Ovais Ahmed Tanweer Mangalwala, a Producer and a Host of Dawn News channel. He came to introduce a new program named "CITIZEN JOURNALIST". He interact with students and taking their views about citizen journalism. In this program a citizen can come up with the unique idea in a form of pictures and Videos. He gave some important points on how to be a successful journalist.

        * Never try to copy anyone/ come up with different idea.   
        * Always try to report with right facts.
        * Express your own point of view rather then coping others.
        * Remember that " Everyone can be a good Reporter and everything can be Reported"

   After the guest lecture, Miss Humera, teacher of mass communication department expressing her views and thanking to Mr.Ovais for coming here with the brilliant idea.

After the lecture by Mr.Ovais and Miss Humera. There was an activity by Hira from marketing department of Dawn News. She show some clips of " Mast Morning With Maira" and taking student's views about this morning show program. Students encourage and criticize her but this is just for making the program better. In the end, she thank to all the students.
